MANAGEMENT TEAM
Daniel Ives
CHAIRMAN
Mr. Ives is a Managing Director, Senior Equity Research Analyst and Global Head of Technology Research at Wedbush Securities. Recently, he was appointed Chairman of the Board at Eightco Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ORBS), the first-of-its-kind Worldcoin treasury strategy. Mr. Ives has been a tech analyst on Wall Street for over two decades covering the software and the broader technology sector. He spent the first few years of his career as a financial analyst at HBO and then received his MBA in Finance before becoming a globally known technology equity research analyst and Managing Director with FBR Capital Markets for 16 years, focusing on the enterprise software/hardware sectors including cyber security, cloud computing, big data technology, and the mobile landscape. A major area of his research focus is electric vehicles and disruptive technology over the next decade.
Kevin O'Donnell
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER - BOARD MEMBER
Mr. O’Donnell founded Poptop Partners, LLC, a boutique operating and investment firm specializing in small to mid-market companies with an emphasis on the retail sector in April 2011 and continues to serve as its Managing Partner. From May 2007 to June 2010, Mr. O’Donnell served as the Founder/President of KOR Capital, LLC, a private equity and consulting firm specializing in turn around management of mid-market companies. Mr. O’Donnell has been an early-stage investor in multiple industries including hospitality, beverage, cannabis, hemp and technology. Mr. O’Donnell has served or continues to serve on numerous private and public boards including but not limited to SRM Entertainment, Lakeside Alternatives Hospital Foundation, and The University Club. Mr. O’Donnell brings to ORBS close to 25 years of strategic corporate growth, financial structuring, leadership, and business development initiatives to emerging growth companies.
Brett Vroman
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
As CFO, Mr. Vroman is responsible for Eightco Holdings' financial operations, including budget development and management, financial statement preparation, and reporting to shareholders and the board of directors. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) with prior experience as CFO at a NASDAQ publicly traded company, as well as with BDO USA, LLP and Smart and Associates, LLP.
Sheamia Smith
CHIEF OF STAFF
With over 15 years of experience, Ms. Smith has specialized in streamlining operations, managing cross-functional projects, and supporting executive leadership at private equity-backed and publicly traded companies that held subsidiaries across various industries, including entertainment, finance, technology, construction, and healthcare. As Chief of Staff, she plays a pivotal role in aligning strategic goals with daily execution and serves as an essential liaison between the executive team and the broader organization.
